Mine NOIDin your browser
Statusv0 · spec in progress
A planned browser miner for NOID, the Proof-of-Work coin of the Parano1d network. No install: open a tab, set your intensity, stop at any time.
Comes nextPlanned Opt-in mining in a tab, with an instant stop. Far slower than native miners, so it is not presented as profitable.Tier 0 16 NOID per block, from block 210,537

Open a tab.
Start mining.
No download and no setup. You decide how hard your CPU works, you see what it does, and you stop it with one click.
- Planned
Set your intensity
Choose how much of your CPU the tab may use.
- Planned
See what it does
Hashrate and CPU use stay on screen while it runs.
- Planned
Stop at once
One click stops it. Closing the tab stops it too.
How it works
One block,
five steps
- Sync
Follow the chain
A node follows the canonical chain and validates it on its own.
- Assemble
Fix the next block
The node selects transactions and fixes payout, fees and the new State root. Only the nonce stays open.
- Prove
Prove the transition
The node proves the block before any hashing starts. Hashpower alone cannot produce a block.
- Search
Search the nonce
A worker tries 128-bit nonces against one fixed Poseidon2b header and target. This is the step moria plans to run in your tab.
- Seal
Seal and announce
The node checks the winning nonce, commits the block and announces it. ASERT targets one block every 30 seconds.
Limits
See the FAQA browser tab is the easiest way to try NOID mining. It is not the fastest way, and we do not present it as a way to earn.
Far slower than native miners
The same processor does much less work inside a tab than in a native miner.
It needs a node behind it
A worker only searches nonces. A node has to build and prove every block first, so a tab cannot mine alone.
Often blocked
Antivirus tools and ad blockers often block mining scripts, so the tab may not start on your machine.
Power and heat
Your CPU works harder while it runs. Expect more heat, fan noise and battery drain.
No promise of profit
Electricity can cost more than what a tab finds. Treat it as a way to take part, not as income.
Points are not coins
Any promotional points stay separate from redeemable crypto. Real mining rewards are accounted for separately.

Questions
FAQ
01Is moria live?
Not yet. moria is at v0 · spec in progress, so nothing runs today.
02Do I need to install anything?
No. The plan is a miner that runs in a browser tab, with no software to install.
03Can it run without me knowing?
No. It is opt-in and always visible. It starts when you click start and stops when you click stop or close the tab.
04Will I make money?
We do not promise that. A tab is far slower than a native miner, and electricity can cost more than what it finds.
05Can a tab mine NOID on its own?
No. Parano1d nodes must build and prove each block before any nonce search, so a tab can only be the worker behind a node.
06Why might my browser block it?
Antivirus tools and ad blockers often block mining scripts. This has been common since Coinhive, which closed in March 2019.
07Are points the same as NOID?
No. Any promotional points stay separate from redeemable crypto, and real mining rewards are accounted for separately.
